An Important Trip Back To School

                “Thump, thump, thump!’ My heart is beating like a wild horse running in a big field as the day where my fate is going to be decided is just around the corner. Two more days later is the day where my SPM result will be release and that’s the day where my life will be entering a whole new stage, whether it is good or bad? It’s all depending on my result. I am too nervous to think about how my future will turn out, will it be like I have been dreaming of? It’s now a mystery until that day arrive.

            After I finished my Pre-Calculus test 2 at University Technology PETRONAS, my friend, Jia yen accompany me to go back to our home town since we are in the same school. In the afternoon, we take a bus to Medan Gopeng and we have to change 2 buses just to get back to our home town at Sungai Petani. Although it’s tiring but the feeling of anxious in me is too strong and I am too nervous. It’s a 3 hours bus trip back to home town. I start to talk about how our future is going to be and I tell my friend about my dream of becoming an engineer. I try to calm down myself by listen to the music throughout the rest of the bus trip.

            After a long day of travelling, we finally arrive back in home town at 7 p.m. The day is getting darker and we are too tiring. So, we just quickly head back to my friend’s house. I’ll be staying at his house until I take my result. His family treats me really friendly and they make my fell like everything will be fine. However, the feeling of nervous still haunting me. I quickly get into sleep and leave everything to tomorrow.

            I wake up and look at my watch. It’s 22^nd March 2012. The day has finally arrive, my stomach start to growling whenever I think of the scene where I received my result. After finish preparing, my friend and I head straight to our school. My friend is also nervous and I can see it through his driving. As we arrive at school, many students are there waiting for the announcement and I quickly find a place to settle down. I take a deep breath to try calm down but it is useless. The feeling is too strong to overcome it.

            “Attention to all 2011 SPM candidates, the result is going to announce now. Are you all well-prepared?” I freeze for a few second after hearing the announcement. Everything is going to be fine I tell myself. My friends’ name is being called one by one and they all got their result in flying colours. “Sheng Le” my name is called and I quickly go up stage to get my result from the principle. She hands over the result slip to me but I don’t dare to see it. I scare that it won’t be as what I had been expecting. I take a peek and the result is not satisfied for me. I fell like crying because of getting a B+ in my Chinese subject. I fell so disappointed and unfortunate. Just a little more and I can score A in that subject.

            Well everything ends up not quite as what I had expected. But it’s fine now since I started my study 

in university and I tell myself to work harder in studying.
