Science Gone Wrong

Tronoh, Perak – Tronoh is a developing town where it’s best to be known for its mining areas and it’s palm oil estates. Located approximately 210km due north of Kuala Lumpur, the fastest growing metropolitan city in Malaysia. On the 27th of May 2012, a continuous flicker of bright colourful lights were seen shooting to the sky at a local university. This university is better known as Universiti Teknologi Petronas, UTP. A few moments after the beam of colourful lights were seen, clone of a man in his late 30’s, a woman not older than 20 and a young boy at the age of 11 years old said to have came out of the university and were talking to themselves excitedly. “It was fascinating that the clone of themselves looked very identical to each other, as there were no flaws to differentiate between them”, words by Azmina a student of UTP.

At the research lab in the university, scientists, polices, and even a few students of UTP crowded a 15 feet tall, triangular shaped machine that looked like a pyramid made out of pure metal. “This machine is a unique machine that can duplicate any living matter”, words by Dr. Mini Azhar leading scientist in the particular research. As a demonstration, she took an apple and placed it in the machine, turned on the machine and had pressed a couple of buttons. Seconds later, the beam of colourful bright lights were seen once more. Moments later, she opened the machine’s door and 2 identical apples could be seen by all. “Such an amazing discovery, this could actually make a difference in the world, poverty and world hunger could be wiped off clean off this Earth”, said by Mr. Lee, the Chief of The Police Department. “Super cool invention, it’s like a instant cloning machine!” said excitedly by another one of the student of UTP.

Another demonstation was done, but this time placing in a average sized cat into the machine, again the same procedure was done by Dr. Mini Azhar but when she opened the machine’s door, a cat with beady eyes with hundreds of tiny long insect-liked legs came out. The machine started to blow smoke out of it’s top and then the weird creature doubled, then tripled and then more than 50 of them were created. They crawled all over the room eating all the plants that they could find. Finally the machine was shut down by one of the scientist. People evacuated the room and the room was shut closed and was locked disallowing the creatures to escape. Till this day, the location of the creatures are kept under wraps and not shared with the public. Thankfully neither injuries nor death occurred during this event. Cause of mishap is still unknown but rumors have it, a millipede had entered the machine during the experiment; thus started from a beautiful dream turned into a dreadful nightmare.
