ARGUMENTATIVE ESSSAY

WOMEN SHOULD QUIT AFTER FIRST DELIVERY

“Should I quit or not?” It has been a dilemma for women with carrier after having their first child. I totally agree if they decided to quit as they can focus on raising the baby, nullify the risk of child abuse by foreign maid and gain more experience on how to take good care of their future babies.

After they quit, they don’t have to worry about any problem regarding their work. They will have much more balance in life when compared to women who still working after having their first child. Hence full attention can be given to the baby which will later ensure and maintain the baby’s health and the mother can monitor the baby’s growth constantly in case of any unsuspected diseases.

Main argument from working women is they will have more family income when both father and mother are working. [CA] Although they will obtain more capital, it will only be spent on hiring a maid to take care of the baby. [REF] Due to such circumstances, they will resort to hire a foreign maid as they demand less. Fully entrusted a baby’s safety to someone who is not even related by blood does show a good parental attitudes. That is why there had been several cases about child abuse by foreign maid. Thus, we can say that when the mother carries out her duty, the problem is avoided.

Children are the greatest asset of creating a happy family. When the mothers have experience on how to take good care of their first baby, they will be more prepared to have more babies in the future.  It will make a good impression from those around her; her family and her in-law family. Less quarrelling, more loving in family will confirmed those happily ever after myth.

In conclusion, I would really agree of women would quit after first delivery as they can focus on their main task in their life instead of working, avoid the risk brought by foreign maid and leading the ultimate happy family.
