Have you
ever feel nervous when you are on your way back to hometown? This is my first
experience since I was born in 1994. At 5 o’clock in the evening, 20th March
2012, me and my friends were transferring our luggages into a cab. We were all
going to the same destination; Kuala Lumpur. We were in our journey to return
to our own hometown.
After done
transferring the luggages, we took our seat and the cab driver started to drive
to Batu Gajah KTM Station. It took about half an hour from Universiti Teknologi
Petronas (UTP); place where we continue our studies after secondary school. At
5.45 p.m., we paid the driver for the services and waited the train to KL
Sentral at 6.15 p.m.. While waiting, we had some snack. I can see that there
were nervous, worries, happy and fake smile among us. It was all because of one
main reason; 21st March 2012.
What
happened on that date? Why is it so serious that we kept thinking about it?
21st March 2012, ut was the date which our Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
results be announced. This results affect our future. This results decide our
future. Who will we be afterwards much depends on the SPM results. There were
blends of feelings in ourselves only because of this matter.
Around 6.20
p.m., the train arrived, All of us took our steps to the seat. When my right
foot stepped into the train, my heart was beaten at a higher rate all of a
sudden. I felt a chill in my nerves, my mind focused on what is going to happen
the next day and my face expressed who am I that time as sincerely as no fake
feelings at all.
During the
two hours ride, I could not sleep nor eat even a piece of chocolate. I turned
my head around to see others but what I saw was the reflections of myself. Most
of us shared the same feeling. A few questions were running all over my mind.
What will my parents say if I do not meet their expectations? What will I be
for the rest of my life? However, I tried to calm myself down with this quotes;
whatever happens, life must go on. You
will never know what you will get in the future.
