On the 4th of April 2012 at LR3 , Block N
, University Technology PETRONAS (UTP) I posted a question to find out how many student are having a girl-boy relationship when they are studying in university level . From
the question I posted, I do believe that most of university student will
concentrate on their study and won’t waste their time on having any girl-boy relationship.
The survey was carried out by 29
UTP students which consist of 21 male students and 8 female students. They are
mixed in races of Malay, Chinese and International culture, which are 20 Malay
students, 8 Chinese students and 1 international student from Sudan. Most of
them are around age of 17 to 20 and taking engineering and business information
system. Each of the students was
required to answer only once in the question provided. The question was then
distributed to the students and after they completed the question. The question
and answer were then collected.
Based on the data I had
collected, there are 18 students of them with the percentage of 62.1% that are not
having any girl-boy relationship. Followed by, 10 of the students being
surveyed with the percentage of 34.5% are having a relationship and only 1
student refuses to answer the question with the percentage of 3.4%. Among the
10 students, only 3 of them are having relationship with the student among
their course mate which consists of 30% of the student that are having
relationship.
As a conclusion, students of UTP for English Tutorial
Group 1 that are not having any girl-boy relationship are the highest with the
percentage of 62.1%. While only 34.5%of the students are having girl-boy relationship.
So, the hypothesis is accepted.
