{Replying Love Letter}
MUHAMMAD NAFIZ IZZAT BIN MD ARIF [17187]
To my beloved long lost friend,
Hey you, it has been a long time hasn’t it? Wow, if I’m not
mistaken, it seems like you’re trying to hit on me, aren’t you? My, my… you
haven’t changed a bit have you? Well, to be honest I’m not doing so well. I’m
having financial trouble right now, but luckily for me, I have 2 loving
daughters that are always there to help me stay on my feet. Nothing much has
really changed for me but I’m doing fine so why complain. Oh and I’m also very
sorry to hear about your wife, what a great lose it must have been for you but
I’m glad that your children are doing really well. You must be a terrific
father to have managed them all by yourself these couple of years.
So browsing through old photos of us are we now? Yeah, I
remember you, being such an annoying pest, always getting me into trouble and
making me into such a rebel. I’m not saying I regretted those days, I really
had fun with you and my life was full of colours after I met you. I can’t believe that you still remember me; I
thought I would have disappeared from your memories after what happened between
us. I broke up with that guy, after 5 months or so. I really liked you back
then, but you took no initiative in approaching me as more than a friend, so I
gave up on you and went with him.
Anyhow, the past is the past; we can’t look back and
reminisce neither the good old time we shared together nor the bad ones.
Instead, why don’t we create new memories together? Do you still remember that
we made a pack, that we would finish our ‘99 Extraordinary Things To Do
Together’ list before we die? It’s still with me, and if I’m not mistaken we
stopped at number 56, number 57 being skydiving. Oh how I dreamt of going skydiving
with you, floating in mid-air. There is still time to finish this list of ours,
that’s if you’re not too chicken to go skydiving.
I’m really looking forward on meeting up with you, to catch
up where we left off. I mean not right now, not these couple of days, I still
have important matters to attend to, plus the financial problems I’m having.
Maybe in a month or so, if that’s all right with you. I really would like to
just sit and share a cup of coffee with you. Hope your current state is better
than mine right now. Hope to hear from you again soon. Before I end my letter,
let’s make a bet like we use to, let’s meet up on the 27th of May at
Min’s Palace, 7.00pm and whoever comes last would have to pay for dinner. Well,
I hope to see you there, till then goodbye my dear friend.
Love, T
